Don't Wait, Just Jump

16 And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.

Acts 22:16

Ladies, remember when we were children playing Double Dutch with our friends?

I’m sure you can recall that stance; you know the one I’m talking about- one foot in front of the other, knees bent with your upper body hovering in a rocking motion in preparation for entering the ropes.

Just like jumping robe; we hesitate and worry too much about what others might think if we make mistakes. It’s not about them but it’s all about you getting Saved.

No one is a perfect Christian all 100% of the time, just like children we mess up sometimes but the difference is that we have reassurance in Jesus.

Who jumps in with you matters as well-because sometimes you can have a jumping partner but they weren’t ready to make that leap (Change) and in the process you allowed them to mess you up by default!

Well, the best leap I’ve ever made in my life was to jump up from a pew and to go forward and claim salvation and obtain Baptism!

Jump and don’t be ashamed

Jump and don’t worry

Jump and fall down

Get up and Jump right back in there again

Jump until you catch the rhythm

What are you waiting for?
